I will second all the above Led Zeppelin songs. But if you are talking about making songs available for custom download, I am still waiting for the following:
"Psycho Killer" - Talking Heads "Wild Wild Life" - Talking Heads "Train in Vain" - The Clash "29 Palms" - Robert Plant

The No No Song is on SC8172 and is available for custom disc on at least some of the sites offering Sound Choice songs.

Frank, I believe Garth pulled all rights for karaoke signs when he cut his latest record deal, so that's probably a non-starter.

I would like to see "Colorful" and I believe the Verve Pipe did it. It is the song that Mark Wahlberg does at the end of the movie "Rock Star."

I believe the original idea for this thread was - "Of the songs from the Sound Choice catalog that they have released over the years, which ones would you want to have that are not already available on the Custom Disc site?"
I guess somewhere on this thread, somebody didn't distinguish, or understand the nuance/difference, between "available" and "request", and this thread was turned into a "please make these new songs for Custom Discs".
It isn't realistic to take requests for a 'custom disc' basis - it would take somewhere between a long time and years to make back the production cost on the basis of $4.00 per song. So, if the song isn't already in the Sound Choice library, it isn't going to get produced just to be sold on the Custom Disc site. (At least not in today's world - down the road, it's conceivable that ALL songs could be a la carte, i.e, on a custom basis.)

Today's world IS there for one of your British competitors / conspirators. BC, I've only bought a couple of their pressed discs... but I used to get their customs quite a bit. From 6 to 15 songs per disc...
I don't have any sale quotes about the site, but they market the individual songs for custom when they're released, and THEN release pressed discs after the fact.
They release these tracks weekly!

Yes, they sell individual tracks - just like us. But they have a completely different business model set up a few years ago, after the business had totally changed from over 20 years ago when SC business model was set up (and governed by the standard record business of the 20th century).
For instance, iTunes sells individual tracks, and the major labels sell albums. iTunes sells a billion downloads in a few years. The major labels sell 60-75 billion albums in one year.
If we didn't have 20+ years invested in a dealer network, we might take a different approach, too.
If we didn't have a couple thousand discs invested in production and sold through that dealer network, we might look at things differently.
If we didn't have a 16,000 song library, we might consider a different approach.
But we do have all those things, so what works for us is not necessarily the same thing as what works for them. If they had a library with 16,000 songs in it, and they wanted to maximize the sales potential of that library - especially while they were building it over the decades - they might do things differently.
But the world has changed, and we've changed, too. We don't create songs at the drop of a hat like we used to with the luxury of our discs picking up the songs that couldn't carry their weight.
So, we produce maybe a third of what we used to, BECAUSE partially because it's a single song world (not to mention the piracy).
Personally, even if I was playing catch-up, I wouldn't spend so freely on songs that may or may not be worth the time and cost. But that's just us. Maybe their overhead and business structure can withstand that.
Everyone has a different goal and a different method to get there.
