I am all for Ozzy - Rock & Roll Rebel. Other than the title track, In my opinion, that would be the best song to be released off of Bark at the Moon.

"DOGMAN", by King's X just friggin' rules -- that's all there is to it, friends! Check-it-out and gimme some support on this heavy masterpiece! A few "yea" votes would be just awesome, so me work-it-out, all you fine folks out there in the SCBB community! Thanks much!!!
P.S.: I wholeheartedly support the following suggested song candidates for inclusion onto HB-16:
Love To Love - UFO Children Of The Sea - Sabbath Sweet Soul Sister - The Cult
....and speaking in "cult" terms:
I support all the early BLUE OYSTER CULT song candidates previously posted on this thread -- especially "Then Came The Last Days Of May" .... oh, yeah -- wicked-kewl indeed!
Peace To All,
Rockhawk
(BTW, "DOGMAN" really rocks-on like an irrepressible fury....hell yeah!!!)

all for: Slipknot - Psycosocial Sabbath - Children of the Sea Dokken - Hunter or Tooth & Nail Motley Crue - Saints of LA
and many others that i would remember if i wasn't too busy reading everyones rebutle to each post. Love dethklok, but i doubt SC would go for it, great music...vocally boring...but awesome all the same!! Maybe we could just make Brendon Small release it on karaoke himself...just a thought =/

Judging from the last couple of Headbanger discs, it seems like Dokken is allowing karaoke licensing. Here are a few that I'd like to request...
The Hunter Just Got Lucky Too High To Fly Tooth and Nail

I like to say I totally agree with him on this subject. If Dokken is allowing songs for karaoke I would also like to see these songs put on the next HEADBANGERS Disc also and or even just a Disc that is all Dokken or a Dokken versus whoever disc just so we can get these songs!!!!
So come on SOUND CHOICE you want to make your loyale customers happy then come on and give us what we want and have been looking for. Starting with this request and going from there!!!!

I'd love to get ANY songs from Dokken's Tooth And Nail album. The ovious choices are "Just Got Lucky" and "Tooth And Nail," but I'd even like some deep cuts like "When Heaven Comes Down."
Hey, how about some Dangerous Toys? "Scared," or "Teasin' Pleasin'?"

I totally agree with you and so does my boyfriend "Millertimerocks" Espcecially when it comes to the "Dokken" requests. But I also myself would love to see some "Dangerous Toys" Also.
But I more or less and i know this will never happen and i have asked and requested this before in a few other posts, I would love to see some "Joe Lynn Turner" and more Rainbow and more Deep Purple some of the rare stuff that has not been played much but are really great songs most of which were sung by Joe Lynn Turner! I just want to see some Joe lynn Turner in karaoke Period!!! Like:
"Endlessly" "King Of Dreams" Just to name a couple.
Thanks for listening lets just say there are so many songs and groups that I wish were out in karaoke but I know alot have to allow it in order for sound choice to do it. But I can still wish and request maybe if we keep on asking and requesting then maybe Sound Choice and whoever is not giving permission to use thier songs will see this and see how much we love thier music enough to want to sing it will finally get the picture and allow the songs to be used. Who knows it could happen! Thanks for letting me talk, I also hope if anyone agrees with me on this they will also say something to help get the ball rolling!

Hey, does anyone here know if BC still posts in the forums? I don't frequent this place as often as I used to... BC (the Studio Manager) used to pop in occasionally and let us know if certain songs are restricted or not. Because I'd really like to know what's going on! All of a sudden, Van Halen decided to yank permission of ALL their songs on karaoke? Then AC/DC did the same? When did all this start happening? And WHY??
I'm pretty sure that the last time I went to the custom disc site, there weren't any Bon Jovi songs available. They had that big hit a while back... "Who Says You Can't Go Home." I was searching the web, and it looks like only ONE karaoke company made that song... so I'm sure that the Bon Jovi team made it VERY clear that it'd be illegal!

Ya its too bad, when that guy went above and beyond on this board and they move to another "area" to employ people over there. Shows me exactly what kind of people running the show are all about. I don't think too highly of them kind of people!!!!!!!!!!

Although Bible Black would be cool, I'd much rather prefer DIE YOUNG. I've been after that songs for years now. In my opinion, that should be the next new song on karaoke for Black Sabbath aka Heaven & Hell - period!

Well... apart from me getting sick and trying desperately to belt it out with a sore throat, I was not disappointed by the reaction of the crowd.
Perry Mason was a hit.

Last night I got the opportunity to see Judas Priest play in its entirety their classic "British Steel" album. Once again, it really reinforces my suggestion of having "Metal Gods" available for karaoke. I feel as though it is such a classic Priest cut that really should be released.

Made me want to have "You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise"; but I would still love to have any J.P. including "Delivering The Goods" or "A Touch Of Evil". But, I'm all for Metal Gods too.

"I'm the Man" from Anthrax has already been done on a Sound Choice disc (SC2364), though that disc has been discontinued for quite some time.
I'd rather prefer if Sound Choice made another Hard Rock Hits disc (or maybe a disc of Canadian rock hits, because not enough of this type of music has ever got a good amount of karaoke treatment), but it sucks that the combination of piracy and tight licensing restrictions that's been going on in recent years is preventing this company from making any theme disc other than a compilation of recent hits. From now on, I'm just making homemade karaoke until Sound Choice actually does something about any of our requests. They're a good karaoke company, but they've let us down for far too long, even though they did a good job catching up with their most recent Spotlight disc (SC9024). At least sometimes they do manage to listen to our requests, considering that the Spotlight disc I mentioned does have on it "Psychosocial" from Slipknot.

And maybe "Nice Boys" by Guns N Roses....the original Rose Tattoo version would be cooler, but GNR's version is pretty close, and besides, how many people have ever heard of Rose Tattoo....lol
