Hi everyone, it's been a long time! Some of you may remember me... to all the others, it's nice to meet you. I noticed there isn't a thread up for the Headbanger's volume 16 disc yet. Shall we begin?
I'm going to post my "perfect" disc... the 15 songs I want the most. It'd be fun if we all put up our "top 15," but of course, anything goes. Here we go!

Hey, I remember BC saying a while ago that Iron Maiden was a karaoke "no no" due to licensing restrictions. Is that still the case? The three Iron Maiden songs SC released were all written by Steve Harris... "Number Of The Beast" and some of the other good ones were written by Adrian Smith and Bruce Dickenson. Anyone know the deal on this?

I see that AC/DC's Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is still on the Foundation II. Are they still no to karaoke or is it just the songs that were previously approved are still okay for karaoke? If they still are okay for karaoke, I would request their latest "Rock & Roll Train".

I'd like to see AC/DC's entire Highway To Hell album on Karaoke. Songs like Beatin' Around The Bush, Love Hungry Man, Night Prowler. Oh!, those are such wonderful classics. We already have Higway To Hell, and Girls Got Rhythm. How about the rest of them? They would be such fun to sing in a bar.

Actually there should be a lot more of some of these bands that are already listed and also some that are not. We want more Metal Sound Choice So Come on lets get some.

I wonder if Sammy Hagar's classic heavy song Buying My Way Into Heaven on the Unboxed Album could pass for a Headbangers karaoke song, If it is allowed/permission for karaoke?

I couldn't find "Buying My Way Into Heaven" on YouTube or any free sites. But speaking of Sammy, I'd love to get the song he wrote, "Stand Up" as performed by Steel Dragon for the movie Rockstar.

"3 Little Pigs" - Green Jelly is one of those songs that I am VERY surprised SC has never done. If I'm not mistaken, only ONE manu has ever done this one. It's on a low-end manu's disc but I agree with Lonman & Knightshow that the version is actually pretty good.
This one doesn't get pulled out like it used to at karaoke shows but I STILL hear it occasionally.

I used to occasionally jam with the bass player from Green Jelly. Back then, they were still known as Green Jello before they got sued over their name. It was funny... they'd hand out tubs of green jello to the crowd so they could throw it at them while they played. They used to cover their amps with garbage bags so they didn't short out!
