But a SECOND Jimmy Buffett Spotlight would really be sorta cool [if only the licensing wasn't so problematic].

StacyR, I KNOW I've heard people sing "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and I'm pretty sure I've heard people sing some of those other Def Leppard songs on your list also. So at least a few of those songs _are_ out there.
And I know lots of people here would concur w/me on this--we need more Alan Parsons Project!!!!!! I second the Ramones also--good call, karaokeguy!

A Steve Winwood Spotlight would definitely get my vote.
There are already seven songs currently available from Winwood on SC:
1. "Back In The High Life Again" 2. "Higher Love" 3. "It's Alright" 4. "Roll With It" 5. "The Finer Things" 6. "Valerie" 7. "While You See A Chance"
With the addition of:
8. "Freedom Overspill" 9. "Arc Of A Diver" 10. "Don't You Know What The Night Can Do" 11. "Talking Back To The Night" 12. "Holding On" 13. "One And Only Man" 14. "Split Decision" 15. "Take It As It Comes"
This could actually work.
Perhaps a Winwood/Traffic disc could be considered. Traffic is one band well deserving of more than ONE song available from SC.
"Freedom Rider" "Rock & Roll Stew" "Empty Pages" "The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys" "Dear Mr. Fantasy" "Paper Sun"
Laura, I totally agree with you that we need more Alan Parsons Project on karaoke. SC has THREE songs available and there are enough worthwhile songs to at least do a Alan Parsons Project Star Series disc.

And _I_ totally agree with _you_ that we need more Steve Winwood--both solo and with Traffic. I've sung "Higher Love" from SC, and "Don't You Know What the Night Can Do" and "Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys" (badly edited version IMHO) from other manus. I would really love to do "Split Decision", "Take it As It Comes", and "Empty Pages", to name a few.
You know what's funny? I first heard "Empty Pages" in the '80s and thought it was a new Steve Winwood solo track. Turns out it was one he did w/Traffic--and definitely not "new" in the '80s!

Agreed! There is still plenty of good material to put together another disk.
