I would like to add "STAY UP LATE" by the Talking heads.

I also wish the live Stop making sense version of "Once in a lifetime" by The Talking Heads was available

Real men by Joe Jackson is a great choice [Smile]

I agree with "Real Men" by Joe Jackson. "Right And Wrong" is great too. Add to those: "You Can't Get What You Want"

Big third on The English Beat's Save It For Later. 2nd World Destruction from Time Zone.

And also
Only A Lad; Goodbye, Goodbye, No One Lives Forever, No Spill Blood; Gratitute; but would like to add Wild Sex (In The Work Class). With Little Girls; Weird Science; and Dead Man's Party, that's a Star (like that will happen).

BIG 2nd, 3rd, whatever to "You Can't Get What You Want", "Make a Circuit with Me" (it wouldn't work with me singing it, but I'd love to hear it), and "Kick". I had never heard "Make a Circuit with Me", nor had I even heard _of_ the Polecats, until a few years ago when I got the "Living in Oblivion Vol. 3" CD.

Speaking of which, another song on that CD is "Hanging on a Heart Attack" by Device. Could we please, PLEASE have that song available for karaoke???? It would be so much fun! (Especially if the little rap bit in between the verses was left for the karaoke person to do instead of pre-recording it--just a suggestion...)

I saw INXS in concert back in '97 (just a few months before Michael Hutchence died, as it turned out--he was obviously stoned the night I saw them, although his singing was just fine). I was pregnant with my son at the time, so it was quite funny hearing them sing "Kick" that night. ("Sometimes you kick, sometimes you get kicked.") [Big Grin]

I agree with:

"Masquerade" - Berlin
"A Girl In Trouble (Is A Temporary Thing) - Romeo Void (A DECENT version of this is needed on karaoke!)
"Save It For Later" - The English Beat (long overdue for karaoke!)
"You Can't Get What You Want, 'Til You Know What You Want" - Joe Jackson
"Kick" - INXS
"Gratitude" - Danny Elfman
"How To Be A Millionaire" - ABC
"Cities In Dust" - Siouxsie & The Banshees (great song!)
"Cool Places" - Sparks & Jane Wiedlin (why this one has NEVER been produced for karaoke is beyond me!)

Now for some more requests:

"Just Another Day" - Oingo Boingo
"Stay" - Oingo Boingo
"We Close Our Eyes" - Oingo Boingo
"Are We Ourselves?" - The Fixx
"Deeper And Deeper" - The Fixx
"The Sign Of Fire" - The Fixx
"Secret Separation" - The Fixx
"Touch And Go" - The Cars
"Bye Bye Love" - The Cars
"When The Lights Go Out" - Naked Eyes
"(What) In The Name Of Love - Naked Eyes
"I'm The Man" - Joe Jackson
"I Confess" - The English Beat
"Space-Age Love Song" - A Flock Of Seagulls
"When Love Breaks Down" - Prefab Sprout
"China" - Red Rockers
"Everywhere That I'm Not" - Translator
"What's He Got" - The Producers
"Positively Lost Me" - The Rave-Ups
"Strip" - Adam Ant
"Behind The Wheel/ Route 66" - Depeche Mode
"Looking For Clues" - Robert Palmer
"Johnny And Mary" - Robert Palmer
