OUR REVOLUTION - Halifax ROOFTOPS (A LIBERATION BROADCAST) - Lostprophets BUT IT'S BETTER IF YOU DO - PANIC! At The Disco READY TO FALL - Rise Against SEIZE THE DAY - Avenged Sevenfold
-------------------------------------
Halifax is really trying hard to be Motley Crue 2006, they're not too well known but they are getting play on MTV2. Overall this would be a great karaoke song, with crowd participation possibilities.
I imagine that Rooftops will end up on one or both of the "Monthly" brands, as both did all 3 of their singles from the last album and SC hasn't touched them yet...but yeah, obviously a SC version would be premium.
With SC finally doing I Write Sins, Not Tragedies (well maybe not finally, as it just recently debuted on VH1 too...so maybe it just took a bit of time to catch on overall), I'd love to see Panic's actual new song coming out.
I was really surprised to not see Rise Against's Swing Life Away on a SC disc, but eh. These guys are one of my favourite bands and this is a good new tune from them.
Seize The Day might not actually be an official single yet, I'm not sure. MySpace premiered the video for it. After hearing this song I had to scower the Guns N Roses discography to see if this was a cover. Great, great song.

Seize The Day was played on the radio and had video play on the fuse with the release of City Of Evil; so I guess it was the first single off the album. But it might be getting played again and people are catching on to it now. Hey, it took Jewel a year and a half for her single to make it; and same with G&R's Welcome To the Jungle.

Even though A7X and Panic! has those as the new releases, I got to go with Beast & the Harlot before they get to Seize the Day. And I'd have to go with The Difference between Martydom.... for the other Panic!
Good choice on the Rise Against, I caught them the other day at Warped Tour. Speaking of new releases, Stone Sour has Through Glass and Head Automatica has Graduation Day out.

For Avenged Sevenfold I would like to see Unholy Confessions on a HB disc since it is from an older lp. Also from an older album is Warmness On The Soul, a real mellow song from them that could fit on an AMU disc. As for their new release the song is Burn It Down - it was released in June one year after the album was. It is also featured on the MT Headbangers II cd.

the problem is...we don't know exactly where the HB and AMU discs stand...my personal theory is that AMU is based on hair metal...like warrant...skid row...slaughter...poison...where HB is the more heavy 70's & 80's metal...such as Dio... Sabbath... Maiden...
but i don't know...cause they did put out rammstein...maybe they're inducing hard rock into it also...

I don't know who does it, but I heard a remake of Baker Street on the alternative radio station today; anybody else hear this or would like to have it on karaoke?

David, I think you heard the Foo Fighters cover of Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street", which came out several years ago.

Could be, thanks Mike, I don't listen to radio a lot, so it could be Foo Fighters
