If you watched American Idol last week and saw the Bo Bice performance and subsequent interview, he mention singing Jim Croce songs to his newborn. Apparently, Croce is a Bo Bice favorite (mine as well). I suspect that Bo will probably record some harder rock versions of Croce songs when he is able to make creative decisions on his music.
So, with that in mind, of everything that Jim recorded and SC covered, here's the best of the rest that should be considered for karaoke.

I like what I'm seeing here on "The Croce List" (R.I.P.), and I would also like to see more Harry Chapin (R.I.P.) material some day, if possible.
Oh, what the hell, posthumous honors should also go out to Messrs. Baldry and Zevon as well! I've recently posted (and have seen posted by others, as well) a few requests here and there for John Baldry and Warren Zevon material. Perhaps one fine day SC might latch-on to the concept of producing some kind of "R.I.P." CDG series reserved for posthumous tribute to the many great artists whom are sadly no longer with us in the flesh....although still with us forever in spirit and memory!!!
I may start a separate thread concerning the aformentioned idea after I've had some time to evaluate the issues of practicality and marketability potential! I'm thinking that a Spotlight CDG including Croce, Chapin, Zevon, and others now gone, might have a chance for reasonable success overall. I'd like to think so, anyway!

It would be great if they could recreate the 50th Anniversary album.
