one night when we had a power outage we started a capello karaoke. During which the old PBS songs came out. So in dedication of that night, let's try this
electric company/tom lehrer - silent e electric company - theme song sesame street - c is for cookie sesame street - it's not easy being green sesame street - rubber duckie zoom (70's version) - zoom theme song

I second the above, especially Silent E and suggest anything from Schoolhouse Rock.

Tom Lehrer also wrote some doozies for "Electric Company" such as the great "L-Y" song... hmm...gonna have to do some digging...
Heh- s'funny - last time we had a power failure at a show (I think it was Illusions), we started by singing "Kum Bah Yah" and it went downhill from there with any camp song we could come up with.
PS: not to pick nits, but the word is "a cappella"

My son loves that song! Once when he was about 3, he put his little toy cars in a circle and sang that! I think he was pretending the cars were singing!
I was just thinking "Schoolhouse Rock" songs would be fun to do for karaoke. My favorite is "The Tale of Mr. Morton", although I don't really think it would fit my voice. I could probably do "Interplanet Janet", though. Then again, if they're not allowing these songs to be done on karaoke...
"VeggieTales" is my all-time favorite cartoon series (it's not on TV, but on video and DVD), and it has a lot of cute songs. Any other Veggie fans here?
My son loves "Pokemon" videos, and when he's watching them, I frequently find myself singing along with the theme song ("I wanna be the very best..."). I love that song!
