"Stand Up" would've been already released but the problem is it was written by Sammy Hagar as you know which is a karaoke no no so no way around it on an American Label

I think that Maiden is refuing further karaoke rights. However, if that is not the case, I would love to get Flight Of Icarus. I'll also second Cemetary Gates from Pantera. More Priest, Dokken, Ozzy, Sabbath (with Dio)

Kid Rock and Korn are a bit too modern for my taste. I'd rather see more cuts from the 80's on this next disc.

yeah too modern, if there's not a mullett headbanging to such songs, keep asking for another Hard Rock Hits volume to come out. Why people would rather sing a b-side Quiet Riot song instead of the newest Mudvayne song "Dull Boy" is still a mystery to me.

Maybe you answered your own question as to why Quiet Riot over the new Mudvayne - too modern???

people wouldn't want to sing it because it's too modern?
I know one Quiet Riot song, total

Just kidding and keeping with the topic; Dull Boy would be modern rock while Q.R. would be headbangers.
Seriously, yes people may want to sing b-sides (although I think they were FM Radio staples) from Quiet Riot more than Mudvayne's Dull Boy because Metal Health was a #1 album and back in those days some people actually listened to the whole album and the album was played over and over and over and...
And Thunderbird was played quite a lot on FM radio since it was dedicated to former Q.R. founder Randy Rhodes who died while playing with Ozzy.
Actually with Mudvayne; I'd like to have that side project song "Alcohol and Ass".

Any news on whether we may have Cemetery Gates or any other new Pantera songs any time soon? I know BC mentioned once upon a time that Cemetery Gates was either in the works or a strong possibilty. Here's hoping!!! Posts: 16 | From: West Virginia | Registered: Jan 2005

Thank you so much(fanning myself from the exhaustion)for at least putting most of the upcoming HB15 on the site. And Classic Rock V5 looks to be a good one as well. Can't wait til y'all finish 'em up and get licensing for the remaining songs. Yay!!!!

Thus far this looks excellent. Does anyone know if we are going to get an additional 5 songs to make it 15 or is there only going to be 10.

As long as there isn't a Metallica or some other long songs it should be 15. There have been one or two with 14 songs due to the length of songs. So it's safe to say that SC puts out a disc with either 15 songs or very close to 80 minutes whichever comes first.
Hey, put the five from the classic rock disc on this one and I'd be happy.

The Classic Rock Vol 5 looks nice! I'm looking forward to singing more Boz Skaggs and the live version of No Woman No Cry also. Boz seems to have a good following in Japan, so hopefully this disc will sell well there also. http://www.bozscaggs.com/tourdates.phpPosts: 683 | From: seattle,wa,usa | Registered: Oct 2003

Even though, I just retired after 10 years, I definetly will be picking up these two for myself. Great job SC. Guess the only bummer, I may have to wait 2-3yrs to see the next HB or AMU type disc. Guess I'll keep requesting Faster P*ssycat.

"More Than Words Can Say" was written, arranged and co-produced by former Sheriff vocalist Freddy Curci and guitarist Steve DeMarchi. At the time, their dissolved band had hit number one with "When I'm With You," and the other members had refused to come back together. Sensing the need to follow up the hit, Curci and DeMarchi joined ex-Heart members, guitarist Roger Fisher, bassist Steve Fossen, and drummer Mike Derosier to form Alias. This tune bearing striking similarities to "When I'm With You" (including a sustained last note) was a result.
The lyrics contain the repeated line referring to "six' o'clock in the morning". The album cover for their debut release, Alias, contains an image of a sheriff's badge, presumably in reference to the former band of members Curci and DeMarchi.
This song is often mistakenly attributed to Winger or Firehouse and is often mistakenly referred to as the song titled "I Need You Now",

I am really excited about this new Headbanger disc. Does anyone know if this is something that we'll be able to get our hands on by February?

My guess would be the end of February, but another guess would be anywhere between 3 to 6 weeks.
