Hey Matt Did that work for you?

If so Im gonna check that out myself. I agree there are hundreds of 80s songs yet to be released on any label and so look forward to all of them.

After watching Blues Brothers 2000 for the 2nd time this week I think I wanna request the whole Blues Brothers Soundtrack from the original and 2002 version.

Maybe a Spotlight of them combined!!!!

Ditto to the BLUES BROTHERS/BLUES BROTHERS 2000 disc. This has, by far, one of the best versions of "How Blue Can You Get" and that is a song I would really like to see on karaoke. Others, in the same movie vein...

Animal House (Steven Bishop, from National Lampoons Animal House)

Girl [grunge version] (Davey Jones, from the "Brady Bunch Movie")

Across 110th Street (Bobby Womack, from "Jackie Brown")

Street Life (Randy Crawford, also from "Jackie Brown")

Ready For A Miricle (Patti LaBelle, from "Leap of Faith")

Change In My Life (John Pagano, also from "Leap of Faith")

This Friendly World (R.E.M. from "Man On The Moon")

Men In Tights (Merry Men Singers, from "Men In Tights")

Thank God I'm A Man (Manning Redwood from "Shock Treatment")

Little Black Dress (Richard O'Brein also from "Shock Treatment")

Pure Imagination (Gene Wilder, from "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory") [perhaps the most requested song that I have never seen on any CDG]

Question: saw "Change In My Life" listed by B Man, and was curious if it's the same amazing song sung by Rockapella?

"I been lonely, I been cheated, I been misunderstood;
I been washed up, I been put down, told I'm no good;
But with you I belong, 'cuz you help me be strong;
There's a change in my life since you came along.."

Oh, and speaking of "The Mask" soundtrack, Domino's "This Business of Love" would be a swanky tune to sing! yeah!

oo! and let's not forget "Why Don't You Do Right" as sung by Amy Irving (aka Jessica Rabbit) from "Who Framed ROger Rabbit?"

That "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" song would be awesome, RC!

I also think the Gene Wilder song would be a huge hit! Plus the various Oompa Loompa songs! LOL. To be serious, I think all the songs off that movie should be done!

Anyone for Midnight Movie Madness?

The previously mentioned songs from Shock Treatment, Napoleon Dynamite, Hedwig, and Velvet Goldmine could go on here, as well as Kyle's Mom's A Bitch and Uncle F***a.

And, might I add:
The Hell Of It--Paul Williams (Phantom of the Paradise)
My Mood Swings--Elvis Costello (The Big Lebowski)

and previously released songs from Rocky Horror can fill out the disc.

How about a Trey Parker/Matt Stone star?
Include songs from South Park, Team America, and especially, "Now You're a Man" from Orgazmo. Sound good?

A star for Trey and Matt?

I think a spotlight 3 of a kind with Adam Sandler and Jack Black would be awesome or instead of Jack black maybe Dennis Leary.

Sandler has alot of songs Id like

I just wanna grow old with you-Wedding Singer

All of the songs from 8 Crazy Nights

Infact think Ive mentioned it before a while back.

Peter Boyle played the monster in Young Frankenstein; still love the scene with him and Gene Hackman as the blind man.

But back with the topic at hand, while Phantom of the Paradise was mentioned - Goodbye, Eddie, Goodbye by the Juicyfruits
Special To Me by Jessica Harpter
as for Oingo Boingo - Goodbye, Goodbye from Fast Times At Ridgemont High
Season of the Witch - Donavan from To Die For

"Street Life" by Randy Crawford is a licensing no-no, unfortunately. sc tried to get it on a female r&b disc a couple of years ago, to no avail.

way too bad....we have women at our shows who would give anything to sing that song for everyone.

Answer: Yes, RC, it is the same song. Just a different artist.

Shame about "Street Life" such a great song that I think would really go over pretty well.

So, how about I replace it with....

Moving Right Along (Kermit & Fozzy, from "The Muppet Movie)

I would love to see any of the Labyrinth songs...but i just had a brainstorm...since i doubt any marilyn manson will come out any time soon...i decided to post it here...where his songs are in movies...

Marilyn Manson - Long Hard Road Out Of Hell (Spawn: The Movie)
Marilyn Manson - Dried Up, Tied & Dead to the World (House of Wax)
Marilyn Manson - Fight Song (Mean Machine)
Marilyn Manson - Rock is Dead (Matrix)
Marilyn Manson - APPLE OF SODOM (Lost Highway)

Personally...i'd love to see Long Hard Road Out Of Hell make it...that'd be an awesome song to sing...any manson would be cool to have...but these are from actual movies...so i figured i'd post them where it would mostly count!!...THNX

Trey Parker is a genius at writing catchy and hilarious songs. "Now You're a Man" in Orgazmo is credited as being performed by DVDA (a joke from the movie). I'd sing this every week if I could get it.

All the songs from Team America are great too. I can't tell you how many times someone has asked me to get "America, F*** Yeah!" Maybe we'll have to wait for another "Mama" disc for that one though.
