How about Steve Goodman's "Go Cubs Go", a song that was performed almost everyday at Wrigly Field and on WGN 720 radio during the 1984 season. It's a very catchy, easy to sing song.

Perhaps it could be on a spotlight featuring sports songs, like the Superbown Shuffle and stuff like that.

I would kill for "Go Cubs Go" by Sound Choice.

"Hard Die The Heroes" by the Michael Stanley Band. It was featured in a Cleveland Browns Music video that featured Tiny Tim. I think it was called Masters of the Gridiron.

"The Hockey Song" would be a good one. It's been done by a CDN brand, but if SC stuck the "Hockey Night In Canada" Theme at the front, it would sell great here.

Didn't steve goodman also do something like A dying cubs fan's last request or something of that nature or is that the same song as above? Pretty good song..though outdated now I guess, but hey still funny if you remember the players he sings about.

They are two different songs. I was actually thinking about the last request song when I saw the title of this thread.

There was a song I think called "Talkin' Baseball". The one about Willie, Mickey and the Duke.

As a joke, we could also have the Abbott & Costello "Who's On First" routine on karaoke LOL.

I have several patrons that would cry tears of joy if I ever got "The Superbowl Shuffle" for karaoke. BTW, it was a national top 40 hit, grammy nominated for best R&B performance, and the rights have to be dirt cheap.
I think this sports themed disc would be super-kewl.

i actually play "Go Cubs Go" all the time at my shows in KC cause they know I'm a huge Cubs fan and the Royals are the Royals.....lol

Speaking of Superbowl shuffle how about the song from the Goldie Hawn movie
"Wildcats" where they mocked the Superbowl shuffle but still was quite a song.

I'm all for this as long as it doesn't turn into a Jock Jamz.....No more Whoomp there it is!!!!
