I would love to see "El Schorcho" by Weezer, and I know I've seen it requested here before.

Finally, how about "Albuquerque" by "Weird Al" Yankovic. I just know that song would be a crowd favorite, even if it is long.

EDIT: I realized that by going through older posts, STP no longer allows SC to do their songs. Bummer.

You know, I'm not sure anymore WHAT constitutes a qualified entry for the "Storyteller" series, but Weird Al's "Biggest Ball of Twine In Minnesota" sure seems like it'd be a story worth telling....

Any chance of getting a complete disc of Weird Al? Something akin to disc 23 from (a different company), but of Sound Choice quality instead of something I'm ashamed to use as a coaster?

Bascially, I'd like to add a large number of Wierd Al songs all at once instead of hunting for tracks from a number of discs. And no, I haven't considered making a custom disc.... but I might have to resort to that.

You do have the 2 Star discs that SC put out, right MrEd? I can't recall the numbers of them off the top of my head, but they are excellent.

Did someone say Weird Al?

Al himself has only performed Albuquerque ONCE in concert, and that was IN Albuquerque several years back. It's a very very very long song (11 minutes and 22 seconds long), and BBOTIM (as Al fans call it) is his second to longest song. As a huge Al fan, I would say that there are songs of his that would be better for karaoke. "Fat" or "Complicated Song" "Wanna B Ur Lovr" come to mind.

Have you tried to sing Albuquerque from his CD with 'Vocal Remove' on? It doesn't sound half bad.

Here's hoping for more Weird Al on karaoke!

Since I'm a mobile show I tend to prefer the spotlight discs - twice the music, half the # of discs. That's probably why I didn't notice the Weird Al in the Star Series. I just ordered them.

BTW, for those interested they're disc numbers 2220 and 2267.
