I got my nickname "Rainman" from some of my singers, after the Dustin Hoffmans' role as the "Rainman" becuase I'm so good with numbers. I've been into the Karaoke business for about 11 yrs now. My library has over 14,000 unique songs, and I can tell you if I got the song as well as give you the number. I'm not always right but usually pretty close. Also if I don't have the song, if available I can pretty much tell you which SC Disc it's on Providing they have produced it. Here are some more requests: 1. Only One - Yellowcard 2. 20th Century Digital Boy - Bad Religion 3. Blue And Yellow - The Used 4. Never Been Afraid Of Love - Toto 5. Elemental - Tears For Fears (good version not cut short like pioneer version) 6. Rock Steady - The Whispers 7. Se La - Lionel Richie 8. Shama Lama Ding Dong - Lloyd Williams (from "Animal House") 9. Promises Promises - Lynn Anderson 10. You're A Friend Of Mine - Clarence Clemons & Jackson Browne
Gotta go for now, but I'll be back....
Thanks for all your kind words. You people on this soundboard Rock!!!

Gotta say that you come up with some pretty nice requests!
What Marco didn't mention is that when he was referred to as "Rainman", it was in a very derogatory sense by one of his opponents on the board. Check the archives...or better yet, don't...LOL!
I'll go over your previous list again for seconding/thirding. I normally don't do this but that list looked so cool, I just have to chime in!
Cheers!
Best,
Mark

Another manufacturer (I won't say who) does have "Oh My My" available, but it's the horrid Ike and Tina Turner rendition. I never knew Ike and Tina did it till I saw that disc!
I agree that a 'proper' version of "Oh My My" should be made available, and since we're talkin' Ringo, how about "Back Off Boogaloo" as well?
Best,
Mark

ok-rainman- i know music---and i never heard "sha-a-lam-a ding-dong". yet,i see the joe buck sports cool advertisement for nike with that slogan to make joe buck look cool. after each home run, i now see that sign in the stands. then i come home and see it already on one of my disc"s, rainman, what did you start and are you following me in jacksonville, florida????

Nope, I'm not following you in florida.... I live in Lake Havasu City, Arizona where the Wolrd Famous London Bridge is out in the Desert. I like a lot of different types of music and actually The Song was requested by one of my singers at my show. I looked on many different Karaoke sites for the song: "Shama Lama Ding Dong - Lloyd Williams (from "Animal House")" but unfortunately a no go. So I thought it would be a great tune needing done for Karaoke by a creditable company like Sound Choice... Hope it's not a copyrights issue...??? Well gotta go for now talk at ya later... Catch ya on the flip side. Keep on Rockin' in U.S.A.... Thanks - Rainman -

Hey all you great people on this sounboard,
I would like to say that you people are some of the coolest people out there. I'm on your side when it comes to needing more great songs done by one great karaoke company like S.C... I hope that soon we will see more 70's & 80's, Hits of the 90's, New wave, Punk, HB, 50's & 60's, AMU, & RnB discs. So let's keep the music playing and the parties rocking....
P.S. Marcolake I was trying to be just a bit funny when iI made my last post. Sorry if you misunderstood my intent. Please accept my apologies..... Talk at ya later Fellow K.J. in the BIZ... Thanks - Rainman -
