Rob, Let There Be Rock is a great song that I'd love to be able to sing on karaoke, but the instrumental breaks would kill the mood. There's just way to many and they're too long to justify a karaoke version, in my opinion.

I'm all for more Bon Scott era AC/DC. In fact, I'd really like to have Problem Child over Let There Be Rock or even Long Way to the Top which has been requested in this thread.

Well, since we did get a King's X song on HB XII, thought it might be time to request "Falling To Pieces" by Faith No More (or any other FNM tune)

Okay, a list has been issued and the game seems to be over, so now I'm going to fix it and explain why.

We have:

MONKEY BUSINESS Skid Row - okay I can see it

PRIMAL SCREAM Motley Crue - no! Piece of Your Action please! Cover the classics first!

NUMBER OF THE BEAST Iron Maiden - Yes!

DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS Dio - Yes!

THE GAME Motorhead - No! We're done with Motorhead by having Ace of Spades.

BELIEVER Ozzy Osbourne - No! Hits first, deep cuts later! We need "I don't Know" or a dozen others first.

STRANGLEHOLD Ted Nugent - No! No more Nugent please

INTO THE FIRE Dokken - Yes, but without an !

GODZILLIA Blue Oyster Cult - Yes!

LET IT ROCK Bon Jovi - No! Bon Jovi is not Headbangers!!! Don't waste my time.

TWO MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT Iron Maiden - Already got a Maiden song

POISON MY EYES Anthrax - No, Anthrax too obscure, no hits, technically "skater" music

ALBATROSS COC - No

SEE YOU IN HELL Grim Reaper - Yes!

BLOOD ON THE BRICKS Alda Nova - No. Who???

SEEK & DESTROY Metallica - No. How about "One"? "Creeping Death"?

REIGNING BLOOD Slayer - No. Slayer just to inaccessible for a mixed crowd. Slayer would be fun, but perhaps on another series, like "Too Dark for Karaoke"

ROOSTER Alice In Chains - No, no and NO!!! Don't grunge up my HB discs!

NUMBER OF THE BEAST Iron Maiden
DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS Dio
I Don't Know Ozzy Osbourne
INTO THE FIRE Dokken
GODZILLIA Blue Oyster Cult
SEE YOU IN HELL Grim Reaper
One Metallica

And To reflesh the list, I offer the following:

Shoot to Thrill - ACDC
Def Leppard - Rock, Rock (Till You Drop)

Twisted Sister - Burn In Hell
Warrant - Uncle Tom's Cabin

(Note due to longer songs, only 14 tracks)

I could also back up one more Pantera song, not really a big fan, but Walk would be cool to have, I was flipping channels on my cable and they were playing Walk on the Metal channel.

And to put in my 2cents on some other suggestions:

MONKEY BUSINESS Skid Row - been requested a lot, I can back this one up (would like to see C'mon And Love Me by either Kiss or Skid Row (SR covered on B-Sides ourselves, along with Judas Priests' Delivering The Goods (which I would also like to see up karaoke)).

Any Motley Crue would be great on the next All Made Up Disc!

NUMBER OF THE BEAST Iron Maiden - Classic Maiden why the Hell not.

DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS Dio - So many Dio tunes, it is hard for me to pick one, but this one or Rock & Roll Children, or Invisible, or even Egypt [The Chains Are On], would be cool.

THE GAME Motorhead - I would like to see more Motorhead

BELIEVER Ozzy Osbourne - Deep cuts, yeah, give me some good deep cuts, don't need the big hits if you got great songs from great lps, give the true Ozz fans something cool. Course still waiting for I Don't Want To Change The World, Mr. Tinkertrain, and the radio version of No More Tears.

STRANGLEHOLD Ted Nugent - YEs!!! More Nugent please, gonna see him open for Cooper soon...and more Cooper please...Go To Hell, Lost In America, And Cold Ethyl.

INTO THE FIRE Dokken - More Dokken would be cool, Heaven Sent could fit in an All Made Up disc.

GODZILLIA Blue Oyster Cult - Yes! More BOC please - RU Ready 2 Rock, Going Through The Motions, Cities On Flame...I could go on

TWO MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT Iron Maiden - (Hey who said Already got a Maiden song....Jeez, we ain't got enough Maiden!!! or Priest!!! -
Still waiting for the Maiden Vs. Priest disc, hey maybe in a year or two we can see the 3 of a kind Priest - Maiden - Queensryche...(Opps!)

POISON MY EYES Anthrax - who said Anthrax too obscure no hits,(What about One More?),

REIGNING BLOOD Slayer - I said it before, if Tori Amos can cover this song, then it has got to be on the top of my list.

Shoot to Thrill - AC/DC, I would like to see all the Back In Black lp on karaoke, especially What Do You Do For Money and Given The Dog A Bone. Would also love to have Long Way To The Top.

Twisted Sister - Burn In Hell - been asking for this one, this would be a fun song to do.

Warrant - Uncle Tom's Cabin (hey it's on SC 8406 HB V/ why the hell should it be on XIII also?)

Good points everyone... there's definitely not enough Maiden and Priest in this series, even if you can't double up on a disc. I'd like to see some Scorpions songs too. Bad Boys Running Wild or Blackout would fit well in the HB series.

Agreed, "Piece Of Your Action" blows away "Primal Scream." Thing is, I wouldn't agree that it's a well-known classic. But OLD Crue rules!

Into The Fire is my favorite song by Dokken... I've been waiting a long time for that one.

I'll take any Ozzy song from the first two albums.

Creeping Death by Metallica would be awesome, but I don't see anything wrong with Seek & Destroy. "One" is slow and boring, in my opinion.

Any song from Holy Diver by Dio would be great, as that whole album rules. Hey guys... I'm having a memory lapse. Is "Time Machine" by Dio, or is that Sabbath? That's a good tune.

One more thing, anyone know what it says when you turn the DIO logo upside-down?

What do you mean "NO" to Albatross from C.O.C.!!!

If not that, then perhaps "King Of The Rotten", "Clean My Wounds" or the grammy nominated "Drowning In A Daydream"...

Also, I have seen some Suicidal Tendencies posts in other topics... How about some ST on HBXIII???

Time Machine is a Black Sabbath song with Dio on vocals. There are two versions: one from the album Dehumanizer and one from Wayne's World II (which is also on the album Dehumanizer). It was Dio's second time with Sabbath and it looked like things were going good until Ozzy decided to retire and Sabbath was going to open for Ozzy and Dio did not want to open for Ozzy, which allowed Rob Halford to do the vocals for Sabbath (although he did come in too early on N.I.B. - but hey, thats live music and him coming in at the last minute

I'm all for the Next Karaoke Genre-"Gothic Karaoke".Anyone remember or see the movie "Queen of the Damned".I have no idea of the sound track artists...but songs like"Not Meant for Me" and "Slept So Long" are great tunes(in my opinion).Kazaa has the artist listed as "The Vampire Lestat."..O..K.
Never the less,I say the karaoke world should be available to all types and cultural music.Sound Choice has proven they can they can diversify..but can they take that next step!

Personally, I never really got into Lita Ford, but we could definitely use some more rockin' chick songs in the SC catalog. So I'm sure there's a couple gems out there that would be suitable. Maybe even some Runaways or Girlschool. Remember them?

DavidE, thanks for the tip on "Time Machine." That's a good song, I'm going to have to listen to it again.

I just heard the new Type O Negative on the alternative rock station here in Chicago and that freaked me out a bit. Maybe they'll actually have a radio hit that'll find it's way to karaoke. But, I would really like to see My Girlfriend's Girlfriend first. . .the song I mean

Anything off of "Vulgar Display of Power" is a Start.Personally I think "Cemetary Gates" shows true vocal diversity from beginning to end and would be a challenge to sing!As for the other Butt kickin Pantera tunes:
1)F%$&ng Hostile
2)Respect Walk
3)Hollow..(power ballad if you will)

My 3 cents contribution for HB XIII
1)Delivering the Goods-Judas Priest
or Before the Dawn(great ballad)
2)Cemetary Gates-Pantera
3)Back at the Funny Farm-Motorhead
4)Fuer Frei(bang,bang)-Rammstein- from the Triple X sound track.
5)Untouchables-Korn
6)Not for Me-Static X-from:Queen of the Damned sound track.
7)Shoot to Thrill or Heat Seeker-AC/DC
8)Chemical Euphoria-Armored Saint
9)Love is a Crime or Me Against the World-Lizzy Borden
10)Metal Inquisition-Pile Driver(trust me,this song absolutely Rocks!!!)down load it from somewhere,it's a true metal classic.

For Pantera songs, I'd like to see "This Love" or "Mouth For War."

SC, since I originally asked for Godzilla so long ago, it seems to have garnered a pretty good following. Please, if at all possible find a way to include this on an upcoming disc.
