Well we know the artists, can agree on most of the tunes for XII(though I'm sure we'll be suprised by some choices anyways) so I think it's time to blow the dust of the old cassette tapes and see what we get.

I like the way David started the last one.

Start off with everyone picking one song that they really want to see done, then we'll weed it down and get the most popular 15.

My pick.....

Skid Row - Monkey Business

Monkey Business has my vote.

I'd like to add:
Motly Crue: Primal Scream

Monkey Business has my vote as well. I'd say it's a "must." Primal Scream's a good song too, although I'd like something earlier by Crue. But that's your vote and let's stick to the formula:

MONKEY BUSINESS Skid Row
PRIMAL SCREAM Motley Crue
NUMBER OF THE BEAST Iron Maiden

I nominate Motorhead's "The Game."

BTW: I second all the above nominations.

Okay, I'm just cleaning up the thread a bit. I respect everyone's opinion and agree with all choices thus far, especially Monkey Business and Don't Talk To Strangers. Those are two songs I've always wanted!

MONKEY BUSINESS Skid Row
PRIMAL SCREAM Motley Crue
NUMBER OF THE BEAST Iron Maiden
DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS Dio
THE GAME Motorhead

We're lookin' good so far... let's keep 'em coming!

MONKEY BUSINESS Skid Row PRIMAL SCREAM Motley Crue
NUMBER OF THE BEAST Iron Maiden
DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS Dio
THE GAME Motorhead
BELIEVER Ozzy Osbourne

and my choice (And excuse):

STRANGLEHOLD Ted Nugent (hey, if Suite Madam Blue is on karaoke and I have to sit through that, why not one of the all time rockin' songs of the 70's - hell, it was featured in the movie Rock Star with people bumpin and grindin to it, so don't say you can't dance to it!!)

Alright...

"I Am I" or "Anybody Listening" - Queensryche
"Stone Cold" - Rainbow
"Monkey On Your Back" - Aldo Nova (unsure if you call him HEADBANGER or not, but some of the other HB discs have had Rock songs that I didn't consider HB!)
"Never Surrender" or "Fight The Good Fight" or "Hold On" - Triumph
"She's Tight" - Cheap Trick
"Dreams" - Van Halen
"Rockin' The Paradise" - Styx
"Learning To Fly" - Pink Floyd (not really HB, BUT...

I'm more OLD School in the Rock category!

Pantera "Cemetery Gates"
Pantera "Walk"
Metallica "Seek & Destroy"
Korn "Chutes & Ladders"
Deftones "My Own Summer (Shove It)"
Mudvayne "Dig"
Faith No More "Falling To Pieces"
Sevendust "Bitch"
Prong "Snap My Fingers Snap Your Neck"
The Hunger "Vanishing Cream"
Smile "Staring At The Sun"

I think HB is heading into the 90's now, sorry if anyone disagrees with my picks.

Hey everyone's entitled to their own opinions.

Personally, I'd like to see some more Maiden. So many good tunes that still aren't available.

For my one pick, I'd go with:
Two Minutes To Midnight

This is cool. Number 12 isn't out yet and we're starting on 13.
I'd like to add "Seek and Destroy"-Metallica
"Nightrain" - Guns 'N Roses
and 2nd BOC -"Godzilla"
I'm hoping for Faster Pussycat "Bathroom Wall" on the next All Made Up Vol. 3

KWO since "Mean Streak is already on AMU2 I'll add the Dokken tune to the list.

,Willy & Ultimate Fan.

What one song out of all of the stuff you gave would you like to see done???

Also I want everyone to pick one, I don't care if I have a 100 different tunes. I want to see what songs everyone picks if they only had one choice.

Updated Choices:

MONKEY BUSINESS Skid Row
PRIMAL SCREAM Motley Crue
NUMBER OF THE BEAST Iron Maiden
DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS Dio
THE GAME Motorhead
BELIEVER Ozzy Osbourne
STRANGLEHOLD Ted Nugent
INTO THE FIRE Dokken
GODZILLIA Blue Oyster Cult
LET IT ROCK Bon Jovi
TWO MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT Iron Maiden

I'm very grateful we are getting some ANTHRAX, got the time would be my last choice but beggars can't be choosers, but since we got Megadeth - Angry Again from the Last Action Hero Soundtrack (Great Soundtrack) how about ANTHRAX - Poison My Eyes from same soundtrack we need some more recent ANTHRAX with john bush on vocals...

MONKEY BUSINESS Skid Row
PRIMAL SCREAM Motley Crue
NUMBER OF THE BEAST Iron Maiden
DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS Dio
THE GAME Motorhead
BELIEVER Ozzy Osbourne
STRANGLEHOLD Ted Nugent
INTO THE FIRE Dokken
GODZILLIA Blue Oyster Cult
LET IT ROCK Bon Jovi
TWO MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT Iron Maiden
POISON MY EYES Anthrax

And on Willy B's not about 90's HB i would love it

Pantera "Cemetery Gates"
Pantera "Walk"
Metallica "Seek & Destroy"
Korn "Chutes & Ladders"
Deftones "My Own Summer (Shove It)"
Mudvayne "Dig"
Faith No More "Falling To Pieces"
Sevendust "Bitch"
Prong "Snap My Fingers Snap Your Neck"
The Hunger "Vanishing Cream"
Smile "Staring At The Sun"
Anthrax "Poison My Eyes"

PS. "HEADBANGERS" Bon Jovi etc etc is not HEADBANGING, i like hair bands n stuff but there not HEADBANGING

I'm glad someone put "Into The Fire" by Dokken on there; that was almost my first choice. "2 Minutes To Midnight" is a good one too... and I think we need to add some Scorpions to the list.

That list of 90s metal Willy B put up is great! I especially like the Deftones, Sevendust and Prong songs.

First off, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, Sound Choice! I never would have guessed that "Ride On" would of become available on karaoke (due to the fact that it never was a hit, and never receives radio play). What you've done for me is beyond words, and if you never make another song I care about, I won't complain.

Secondly, let me thank you for the other three fantastic additions: "Heaven And Hell", "My Michelle", and "Turbo Lover". Bravi, SC. Bravi!

And now, here's my wish list for the next volume of Headbanger's:

DEEP PURPLE - Space Truckin'
GRIM REAPER - See You In Hell
AEROSMITH - Seasons Of Wither
VAN HALEN - Drop Dead Legs
OZZY OSBOURNE - I Don't Know
AC/DC - Shoot To Thrill
GUNS N' ROSES - Estranged
IRON MAIDEN - Wasted Years
JUDAS PRIEST - Painkiller
METALLICA - One
TWISTED SISTER - Burn In Hell
BLACK SABBATH - Psycho Man
LED ZEPPELIN - Nobody's Fault But Mine
ALICE COOPER - (He's Back) The Man Behind The Mask
JIMI HENDRIX - Voodoo Child

Big, bleeding, fat horns in the air!!

Great ideas for the metal but lets not forget The 5 and a half octave scream of Tony Harnell of TNT. 10,000 Lovers in one gets plenty of air time on Metal Mania on vh1 classic. Killer Tune.

Is it on a discontinued disc?

The way it stands, I'd take 15 out of the 17 songs on that list, and buy the disc in two seconds for $100.00. You could even tack on tax, shipping, handling and I'd be thrilled!

I especially like SEEK AND DESTROY and REIGN IN BLOOD (You meant Raining Blood, right?)

I'm digging the line up so far.

Scott, really like Let it rock. Since the Head bangers title has split into two seprate line now (Headbangers hits=thrash and All made up=flash) I can see it on a AMU disc. But it has my vote where ever they put it. Always loved strangle hold. Aldo has my vote a few times over. Godzila is growing on me. hell! Now i can't wait for this one!!!!

I know a lot of people at my club are HUGE wrestling fans. They love it when I do Union Underground's "Across The Nation" (RAW theme). I think if I had to choose one song from that list I think Motorhead's "The Game" would make my list.

Personally, though I like "Seek and Destroy"

(Okay, I admit it, I'm cheating and picking 2 songs)

I'm glad you guys like the songs I picked from my 90's list. Thanks guys.

I know I said this before, but if we do get Raining Blood, please let it be the Tori Amos version...
also, if we get another faster pussycat song, how about their cover of You're So Vain.

Oh yeah, and if there is a kiss song - put my 2 cents in for Ace Frehley and Rock Soldiers.

Well, I have previously posted at length my suggestions for new HBH discs, consisting of Savatage, Type O Negative, W.A.S.P., and King Diamond / Mercyful Fate.

So, anything from any of those bands would be a great start... and any of the suggestions made by everyone else are great too... I second Iron Maiden's "The Number Of The Beast" ans W.A.S.P.'s "Forever Free" especially.

Just an additional note: King Diamond & Mercyful Fate would be ideal for any Halloween themed discs, as would a few Type O Negative tracks... thanks.

Black #1 (Single Edit of course)
My Girlfriends Girlfriend
Cinnamon Girl
Christian Woman

Also, how about something from Zebra!!!!
Who's Behind The Door
Tell Me What You Want
Bears
Wait Until The Summers Gone

How about Loudness or Fastway:
Crazy Nights by Loudness
Soldier Of Fortune by Loudness
Easy Livin by Fastway

Slayer... How about Angel of Death or South of Heaven???

Tora Tora - Phantom Rider

How about some Slade??? Cheap Trick???

What about Billy Squire... He may not be total Metal but he is as metal as Aldo Nova and Donnie Iris... In The Dark, All Night Long, etc....
