Hopefully there are more Rush fans that would like to see more songs on a karaoke CDG. I know that for most people at karaoke, listening to a Rush song is the equivalent of watching PBS. However, hopefully I can persuade SC (with some assistance of course)to put out another Rush CDG. As much as I like Zeppelin, I've enjoyed singing the Rush songs at karaoke. The following is a list of potential songs and let's see what the others on the board think. Let's add and subtract to the list and hopefully we'll all be satified if it ever happens:

Vital Signs
Distant Early Warning
Big Money
Show Don't Tell
Stick It Out
Subdivisions
Dreamline
Force Ten
Driven
The Pass
Earthshine
One Little Victory (I know it's out already)

Add "Red Sector A" to that list. "Countdown" would make a nice tribute to the space shuttle Columbia.

Hey, Mr. Q! What's up, man! I like the "watching PBS" comment!

I'll second Subdivisions, Big Money, and Show Don't Tell. These would be feasable, due to appropriate length and popularity.

But the stuff I'd really like to have by Rush is the old, classic stuff. A lot of people have requested "The Trees," but it's too long and there's not enough singing in it. Too bad because I would love to sing that. Hey, here's an idea... how about the whole first side of 2112?

I'm surprised that "Nobody's Hero" has came out - it's a great song and I don't think that the instrumental break is long.

David,

I believe Nobody's Hero is made a small company. I believe I saw the song in a song book at a recent show. If I find it again, I'll try the song and I'll let you know.

Mark,

What's going on? Hope everything is well. I'll by a disc just for the whole first side of 2112. Probably my favorite Rush album. BTW, your Buffalo Sabres are playing decent Hockey lately. I'm going to continue having my heart attacks with the Islanders.

What are you talking about? You guys just beat us yesterday, 2-1 in overtime!

BTW, 2112 is my favorite Rush album too, but "Hemispheres" comes in a close second!

Oh, there's a nightmare/wet dream possible, Side one of 2112 in its entirity (sorry about the spelling) - just imagine a few people signing up for each section and playing it at one sitting - - ouch! Oh well, one man's pleasure is another one's pain - - Sign me up for that one and Nuge's Stranglehold!!!

Subdivisions (a great choice, and not as high as most Rush songs can be.)
Big Money

Seriously, Subdivisions, Time Stands Still, and Nobody's Hero would all be welcome additions to any disc by SC

Put me down for "Distant Early Warning", "Subdivisons", "Entre Nous", "Marathon", "Stick It Out"

also, speaking of 2112... Why not "The Temples Of Syrinx"???

Who wouldn't want to say that classic beginning:

AND THE MEEK SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH....
