Then I got to thinking, depending on the topic, a disc could be compiled, featuring songs that reflect said topic, and perhaps a portion of disc sales could be contributed to a relevant charity or organization?

For example, a disc to heighten awareness on child abuse.. songs that could be included would be,
W.A.S.P. - "The Invisible Boy"
Megadeth - "Family Tree"
Pat Benatar - "Hell Is For Children"
Genesis - "No Son Of Mine"
Madonna - "Oh Father"

Now I know some must be cringing and hurling... not just from such a grim topic as child abuse, but also the notion of featuring W.A.S.P. and Madonna on the same disc.

Anyway, it could even spill over into substance abuse or excessive partying and what not...
Metallica - "Master Of Puppets"
Savatage - "White Witch"
W.A.S.P. - "Cocaine Cowboys"
Eric Clapton - "Cocaine"
Buckcherry - "Lit Up"
Type O Negative - "White Slavery"

Well... the above titles all kinda suggest one particular susbstance.. but still, a common thread.

I also realize a lot of the titles I mentioned, no one's likely heard of.

But at any rate, this is just an idea folks... I'm not married to it... just a new concept upon which to compile CDGs...
