Not a bad idea, but it sounds like a dig at VH. How about something less direct, like: "Attack of the Former Frontmen"?
A _must_ Sammy Hagar tune: "I'll Fall in Love Again". Can't believe SC hasn't done it yet, it's a great song that enjoyed a fair bit of popularity back in the early 80s.
I also second Three Lock Box.
I'd also like to see Rock the Nation from Sammy's Montrose days.

Give us a Sammy Star or Spot (Montrose, Hagar, HSAS, Van Halen) or take the cue from the 2 guys and call it Sam & Dave. Or 3-of-a-kind Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, and David Lee Roth.

Not trying to be argumentative, but... Sammy and Dave's use of "Sans Halen" does seem to be a direct dig at VH (seemingly with good reason, by the way), so... maybe SC would be wise to avoid using it?

Actually, it's not. Even Eddie said he wanted to do it, but the lawyers all got involved.
They are still reported to be very friendly about working together in the future. Perhaps this tour will awaken the interest, and the lawyers will back the hey off!

Yeah, Eddie is doing better now, but between the hip and the tongue, who wants to work. Also, there are personal problems he is going through; maybe when his kid hits 18 we'll see a change.

People will think it's either some great Motown stuff finally made available, or it's some modified version of Muppet songs from the first show they appeared in ("Sam & Friends). Why not "Sam,Dave,Fran & Olly"?

Please make this disc. We could use some of these classic songs! "Everybody Wants Some"!

Just seen ol' Sam & Dave last nite, ol' Diamond Dave did VH songs with the one exception of Yankee Rose.
Gotta say though, Sammy blow him off the stage. Sammy brought all his songs, kicking off with Red, going into Top Of The World, doing a few more songs......
and then........
he did a few VH songs in a row...with Michael Anthony on bass.
Some to think about
