I second the John Valby, but don't know if Sc would produce it. Great songs though

HEre in Portland area, we've got a new all-comedy radio station...while I've been grumbling because they haven't gotten Dr. Demento (which was a secret Christmas wish), they occasionally DO have some songs on there- two from a guy named Stephen Lynch come to mind that would be great for karaoke: "Ugly Baby" "D&D" (This one hits a little close to home for me...)

Hey Ultimate I'll listen to this if you listen to "Nymphomaniac" by Jason Boland.....It is one of the funniest greatest songs needed for Karaoke and the perfect show opener!!!!
Deal?

Been Pushing that for awhile "Nymphomaniac" is one of the funniest songs I'd love to sing.I'm waiting for the chance to be able to sing it to open my shows...lol
I agree also "Hairy Ass" would be a good one for Karaoke.
I second that one

Thanks for the heads up on that song. Ah, to get those two, and the Rodney and Al song I asked about earlier in this thread would be a pleasant surprise. I guess I'll stick to the game of wishful thinking. It has, afterall paid of several times already.

I don't know how Mark Speck or Matt missed replying, but Dead Skunk is on SC8174.
I definitely support The Scotsman. I saw a drunken man try it blind and acapella at karaoke one night. He was woefully unprepared.

I practice The Scotsman with a lyric sheet & the CD, then practice it without the CD or lyric sheet. My wife and a few friends say that I sing it well. However, being drunk, I wouldn't even want to try. Then again, if I were drunk and wearing a kilt, that might be a different story.

How bout: Tom Lehrer - Vatican Rag, Hunting Song, Under the Scottsman's Kilt
Allen Sherman - Louis the XVI, Mrs Goldfarb, Drinking Man's Diet
Guns & Moses - We Love Barney Fife (parody of "We Didn't Start the Fire)
The Great Luke Ski - 88 Lines about 44 Simpsons
Cledus T Judd - Goodbye Squirrel, I Love Nascar, Motel Californe
Stephen Lynch - The Beer Song
Bob Rivers - Dirty Deeds Done With Sheep (and then about anything else from them)
Bob and Tom (Just about anything from them)
Spike Jones - I'm My Own Grandpa
Must agree on Dead Puppies and Dead Dog Rover $$$
We Are The Worms - Can't Remember Artist right now
Rose and the Arrangement - The Cockroach that ate Cincinatti
Let's face it, there are way too many GOOD comedy songs out there for SC to only have 3 puny spotlight disks for comedy.
Did Tom Lehrer's "The Elements" last Wednesday Night without music --Sad thing is I know the song by heart!!!!

Would also like to see a redo on Weird Al's Fat and Eat it, not sure if they done using the right words to the song even (please let me know where I can find a good copy of these 2 songs, would love to add them to my singing list).
Also, the only production of Star Trekkin out there (not going to use the company's name here) is more like a "sing along" with all the words sung with it and I have to sing over the CDG. Would love to have that with only the music just for fun.

Got me on that one, Mark! I sing "Dead Skunk" from time to time, so I should've caught that one. Guess I gotta read the posts more closely.
Someone asked for "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini". I believe that's on SC8222 (think that's the correct disc number).
Now that I think of it, I agree with Granite Teeth that we need a 'proper' version of "Star Trekkin'". I've had no probs singing over the background singers (almost always goes over very well for me), but I'd like to have a version where I could sing the whole thing with no interference.
Best,
Mark

A few more I caught myself singing in the shower:
Doggie Doo - Steve Walsh and the Hydrants
Squirrells - The Beastly Boys
How Much is That Doggie in the Casket - Meyer and Drake
Special Olymplics - Stephen Lynch
Fudge Packers in Disguise - Bob and Tom
Dang Me, Hang Me and Can't Rollerskate in a buffalo herd - Roger Miller
Morris the Moose - Elliot Lorne (or is it Lorne Elliot?) LOL *** But please let the singer have to do the "Moose Sounds" instead of providing it***
I Like to Choke My Chicken - 20 Fingers
**** A redo on Fish Heads would be nice where the "singer" has to sing the "Fish Heads, Fish Head" lines rather than it being done for the singer by the karaoke disc.
Think I've ran outta ideas for today.

Here are a couple more: "The Biggest Parakeets in Town"--Jud Strunk a Pat Dailey song about eating oysters...not sure of the exact title, but I heard it Monday night and laughed my a-- off!
Best,
Mark

I know that Disc your talking about which hopefully they stick with their country music and BC and SC can devote more time to classic Rock and R&B than the old country stuff!!!
although Im not a huge country fan I do like stuff from the 80s and 90s
I will second "The Biggest Parakeets" my buddy just had me listen to this one its pretty funny.
