Hey everybody! This forum is just the greatest! Here's what I would like to know...

Is there a song that you always play at full volume every time it comes on the radio?

Now here is the kicker-please list your song only:
a) If it is not available on karaoke but you feel it should be.
b) That is is played or was played on the radio.

It can be rock or country or whatever. I will list my favorites in a later post. But here is my first:

"SHAME OF LIFE" - BUTTHOLE SURFERS w/Kid Rock

So let's hear it!

Kevin, that guy singing in the car next to you!

YES! I can remember crankin' up the volume on "Heavy Metal" and "Run Runaway" in the 80's. (Drove my parents crazy!) I'll have to take your word on the other songs, I know that they play Pantera on the radio in Texas, maybe other places too. Here's another one of mine:

"DIZZ KNEE LAND" - by Dada

Great tune!! Let's hear some more, any others out there?

Mama Let Him Play- Doucette

Raise A Little Hell- Trooper

We're Here for a Good Time- Trooper

None of these are on Karaoke, all of them are wicked tunes. My Canadian counterparts on this board should be able to verify that.

Crank it up baby!

I tried to put extra tin foil and a couple wire coat hangers on my antennea, but still couldn't get any Canadian radio stations. But if you folks recommend it, that's good enough for me!! I will do a search online to see those songs I am missing. But I do know April Wine from the early days of MTV. Great Band, let's have more on karaoke!! Here Here!

Another of mine:
"Secret Separation" - The Fixx
"AEIOU-sometimes Y" - EBN OZN

Gee, and as soon as you mentioned that, I knew exactly which shows those are from.

I saw the last few minutes of ABC's Nightline a few weeks ago, and Rick was on there, with clips of his "Talking To Americans" segments. I don't know exactly why he was on there, but the host guy with the funny hair (brain fade, sorry) was almost peeing himself laughing at those clips.

Alas, I heard that Rick wasn't going to be on 22 minutes anymore.

Full volume? Anything off the "Painkiller" CD by Judas Priest. Anything by W.A.S.P., Ozzy, Dio, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Slayer, and anything else that kicks major ass!

Three old school came to mind immediately:

"I Can't Live Without My Radio" - LL Cool J
"No Sleep 'Till Brooklyn" -Beasties (Thanks, Sound Choice!)
"King Of Rock" - Run-DMC

Rock? Ooo, too many to list- but I once got out of a speeding ticket 'cuz I was cranking "Radar Love"...the officer smiled and understood. Hard to only go 55 when THAT tune kicks on the radio!

Two songs that make me wish I had more volume on my radio:

"I'm Your Captain/Closer To Home" by GFR (man, I love that song!!)

and

"Do You Feel Like I Do" by Frampton (yeah, the 4 hour live version!)

BTW..."that70sguy," is your name Kevin? Are you in Southern California? You're not Weird Kevin Yankovic, are you?
