Currently, the only legit monthly hits producer is Pop hits monthly. We keep getting consumers asking us about Fast Trax. We DO NOT sell fast trax cd's as we have an increasing distrust in what is on the market. The only fast trax I seen looked like a burnt disc.

1. Burnt discs from the one we seen
2. No record of who owns the brand
------------------------------------------
If you are buying fast trax, we suggest you ask the seller WHO is the owner of fast trax. DEMAND contact information, or even contact info of the place they purchase it from. It has to come from somewhere!

Did some more research today by calling a few of the online sellers and here is what I found out:

1. Not a SINGLE 1 could tell us who owns fast trax.

2. Not a SINGLE record found on who the owner could be.

3. One seller stated that quickhitz and fast trax are the same producer.

Needless to say, my research has led us to NOT sell these karaoke discs. We CHALLENGE anyone to give us information that would make us want to sell those types of discs to consumers. UNTIL THEN. Would we call them ILLEGAL? You tell us!

Their graphics are the worst, why would anyone want them to begin with, not to mention - at least in the few tracks I heard - completely matched up to the same tracks I have from Sunfly (Adele being the tracks in question).

I don't really think Fast Trax stole any audio from Sunfly, Lonman. In fact, I'll re-post something I stated in another thread here just to give you my explanation about what actually makes Fast Trax completely illegitimate as a karaoke manufacturer:

What I think [Fast Trax] does to make their discs is steal audio that was originally created by Karaoke-Version.com and try to sell it as their own by burning a set of graphics over each track. Honestly, I have compared the tracks in production on that site with what gets released on the Quik Hitz/Fast Trax discs and their choices are practically identical.

Though I use audio from Karaoke-Version at the venue I commonly go to and have put my own graphics onto every track I burn on the CD-Rs I use for the performances I do at this venue, I have never sold the discs I make with these tracks because I know a good chunk of copyright violations can be brought on me from doing that.

However, Karaoke-Version.com is a great site and I grab some amazing tracks produced there which Quik Hitz/Fast Trax seem to miss out on when they're making their bootleg discs. I recently sang "Bitch Came Back" from Theory of a Deadman at the karaoke venue I usually go to and I don't think a single company, not even the bootleg ones have ever considered releasing karaoke for that song on a disc (then again, the Theory of a Deadman song "Bad Girlfriend" was a super popular radio hit and that one never got onto a karaoke CD+G either). Basically, though Fast Trax is striving to put what is currently the most popular hits onto each of their karaoke discs, when you go to that site I mentioned and look at the catalogues from more professional and legitimate manufacturers, you realize that there are much better options out there concerning the quality of your karaoke experience.

The Adele track in question was identical musically to my Sunfly, but different than the K-Version - the piano tones were a little higher in the KV instrumental.
