Because I was very impressed with this place it's worth mentioning. While we were down in Nashville for CMA fest we made time for karaoke of course.Well on Broadway there is a place called Wanna Be's karaoke bar and it is a great place to go to karaoke.
1. When the host starts the show he starts a sing along and moves all around the bar and if you don't sing he will stay by you until you do sing as he wants everybody to gt involved.
2. The books only list around 2000 songs but he said walk up to (forgot name) in the booth and he'll get you set up in the computer.
3. The whole crowd is into giving the singers recognition. An example is a girl said I'm in Nashville please make me feel like a star and the crowd went nuts for her and thats what she wanted.
I know it was a big week there but there were alot of excellent singers and there was a boy there who we figured was around 8 or 9 and I don't remember what he sang but when he was done everyone in that bar gave him a standing ovation and several people approached his mom and she had business cards ready. He's definately going somewheres.
The food is excellent and very reasonable the only drawback is you are definatley gonna have a long rotation but this was the' best karaoke show I ever went to and I would definately go back.
I also heard alot of songs I never heard before and made a list of new ones I have to get for myself.
Wanne Be's get's 5 stars from me.
