I'm a newbie to purchasing the Karaoke CD's but quickly found out that not all CD's have the accompanying vocals to follow along. How do I determine what CD's have the lead vocals, plus the graphics (words)?

read the cd packaging. As far as sound choice goes. the only cdg series that DOESN'T have guide vocals is the spotlight series

If the disc has 6-8 tracks, it usually has a vocal track & an instrumental track.

If it has 14-17 tracks, it will not have any guide vocals.

Hi EZsinger,
There are a few with 15 songs that also have a demonstration vocal also. (Super Star brand comes to mind, but I don't recommend them) Any disc that provides a demonstration vocal will have "multiplex" somewhere on the disc.
