I found a site that looks like it is selling Sound Choice tracks but there is no SC logo anywhere on the site to be found. I've used other customs sites that are authorized by Sound Choice and they have SC's logo visible and even credit them right next to the song.

I think SC would want to look into this. I won't give the web address here but I could let BC know in a PM. Of course they may be on the up-and-up. Only SC would know.

I think I know of exactly the site you're talking about. I've mentioned them several times and reported them, but they're still up and running. It's that website that changed my mind about customers being able to bring in burned discs. If I say yes to some and no to others, I have no way of holding control, so, I just say no all around now.

I had hoped to allow people to make compilation discs from what they already own so they only have to bring in one or two discs and not their whole collection, however.... That's just not going to work with sites like these.

I have seen people bring in custom disks with mixed manufacturers (including SC) on the same disk. I doubt that the site that these disks are being ordered from is on the up and up.

Stan,

There are some UK sites that offer custom discs with mixed manufacturers including SC on the same disc. I have assumed that different copyright laws there permit this.

The ones that I have seen have cheesy-looking printing. If they were from the UK site, I would think that the CDG-R would look more professionally made.

I've seen legit custom burns from manufacturers - Priddis or Pocket Songs if I recall - that used plain white paper label & Arial printing.

Stan, the one I got from one of the UK companies was a "cheesy" white label with typed titles on it!

I know the places you are talking about, but you will agree that on those sites SC is getting credit (their logo and "SC" next to the track number, for example) and I'm sure getting money from those sites. The site I'm talking seems to have every SC exclusive song that I could think of, but no mention of Sound Choice anywhere.
