Have to ask that if you are going to put these labels on the discs, make sure that they get on ALL the songs that have the "naughty" words in them. I just did a kid show (private party) & rely on the advisory warning & make a separate book just for kid shows. Well there were several that came up that I had to stop due to profanity in the lyrics, yet they weren't marked on the disc, even though others on the same disc were. As a host, we can't expect to know the lyrics to every song & who may or may not have explicit lyrics in their songs.
Just food for thought.

Good point...and I'm sure they try. Differenct people have a different level of acceptance or definition of profanity. Help the rest of us - which disc gave you concern?

Well one disc I saw was 8822. It only has 3 parental advisories, but more than half of the disc should have. Unless F*** & S**T are acceptable words these days for young ears.

Oops, our mistake - sorry for your kids show, and any embarrassment or insulted parents.
Yes, there are several songs missing their PA warnings on 8822. On our website listing, there are 7 songs listed as PA, but only 3 on the cover artwork have PA designations.
Although one disc is only one disc, I'm sure there are other songs that should be marked and were missed on other discs.
We would like to know about any more songs and discs if they're out there and you find them, even on older discs like this one.

Can you please name the song titles that should've been marked with PA Advisory? Save me time in checking/playing each one of 'em. Thanks.

Do ya all remember when I played a song at a school dance and my son told me to take that song off as it wasn't appropriate for the kids. I was quite embarrassed.
I never heard the song before so how was I to know?
I've been browsing a new one to see about replacing some worn out cdg's. Looks like PA songs are well covered in the new cat.
Knowledge, as much as I HATE listening to some newer crap, is the best tool. Some songs can be just as bad if not worse, content wise, even without vulgarities.
Don't be afraid to cut off a song on the spot. We're all human. Just explain to the kids, your job depends on it. And to the adults, that it's impossible to keep up with ALL songs.
Ask for help BEFORE the show. The adults hear the kids' tunes at home. Let them help!
Funny how kids specifically look for those songs.
I've gone to adults at a show before to ask if they knew a song I didn't. Let them decide, then it's not on you.
