Gotta give you guys a big ol thumbs up for Mama Let Him Play. Have ordered the disc, can't wait to sing it! Just out of curiosity, last time I spoke to Jerry he indicated money was a big issue and that he'd only sell it to one manufacturer. Obviously you're not going to tell us what you paid him but I am curious if you got exclusive rights to the song. Good on you guys for getting it out. Last time it was posted, BC hadn't even heard the song. What was it that swayed you guys?

I'm willing to bet that it was the flood of requests for this tune. As soon as one person brought it up (Marcolake?), all of a sudden there were quite a few others saying "Hell, yeah! How did we forget that Doucette tune?".
BTW, I've never, ever heard "Mama Let Him Play", though I am familiar with it as we used to get CKLW radio charts all the way down here in Cleveland and I saw the song listed. I automatically knew it was Canadian as I didn't recognize the artist. Now I wanna hear the damned song!!

Oh...you should have seen the silly grin sweep over my face when I heard the 1st strands of this puppy!!!! Raced home with the disk and popped it into the home system. I was giddy.
