BC: I tried to ask this before, but perhaps it went un-noticed because it was a tangent in a different area:
With the upcoming release of the "8670 - Hits of the Rolling Stones" disc, does this mean that ABKCO has softened it's stance towards karaoke licensing, or is this just affecting the Stones catalog?
Can we expect any other Allen Klien controlled music to be released as well?
Thanks in advance for taking time to respond.

I haven't missed anyone's posts (and I don't mean to be rude). Open discussion of this and related subjects never seems to be beneficial to our cause or to karaoke in general.
Nothing between ABKCO and Sound Choice has changed.

Could it be that the tracks contained on that disc are NOT Abcko tracks? Posts: 176 | From: Alliston, Ontario, Canada | Registered: Jun 1999

I was wondering the same thing Gil. I made the comment about Can't Get No Satisfaction not being on there on a different thread, and I'd have to think that song would be there if SC had access to everything. Start Me Up was the song that Microsoft got into hot water with when they launched Windows 95. Also found it interesting that the 3 songs I see in my old SC catalog aren't on this disc.
And SC gets accused of filling discs with repeats LOL
