For about a week or so, after navigating about this forum for a few minutes my browser hangs up with the words "120k read" or something of that ilk appearing in the status bar. I tried reconfiguring the memory allocation, and even tried using IE (yes, it made me very ashamed to use a Microsoft ap). Still the same problems. If I quit the broswer and come back, it's ok again, but only for a little while.

I've been having problems here for the past few weeks. It takes forever for a page to load to 39% then it just stops loading. And then it finaly does load after about ten tries, the page is blank. I clear my explorer frequently. And this is the only site I visit that is causing problems.

I had to download the Explorer 5.0 from AOL over and all worked fine. I had trouble on several sites last week. If you are on AOL just hit key word BROWSER and then download , and restart your computer.

Nothing on the board itself has changed as far as programming. I personally have no trouble here at work (except for a slow connection at times) or at home.
I run Internet Explorer 5.0 on both machines.
If you could let me know what kind of connection you have and what browser and version you have I might be able to track something down (I hope)

Netscape Navigator 4.08 for Mac, T1 line connection.
I noticed today when this happened 3 times it only occurred after I made a posting. Could this be linked to a cookie or however the ap remembers the user?

But I just noticed that the clock may be off. It is about 9:55 PM PT here, so if my math is correct, the time of the post should have been 02-23-2001, 12:48 AM.
