Jeez... We are talking a very slow night if you sang Hurricane, lol! Hope you said hi for me to Alma and Steve. BTW, this is me, Tom from Iowa, if you hadn't already figured it out. So many songs in one show, it must have been a rotation of six or so.
Glad you had fun. JoAnn and I are going out to sing tonight for the second time since her knee replacement surgery around Labor Day. I just bought another custom disc from Select-A-Track, but it's the first one in almost a year. Either I'm too picky or even in the UK these days the manus have quit producing much of anything I either don't have or want.
I barely made the five song minimum to order a disc. Happy holidays Mark and all, Tom

On Thursday night, my theatre class in university decided to throw a karaoke party. It was fun and I managed to sing some songs there that I haven't done karaoke for in awhile, but the KJ involved in the booking was operating on a hard drive that didn't use any Sound Choice files, so I was suspicious about his legitimacy as a host. However, I was so good on stage that he wanted me to see him again on Tuesday, so the next time I talk to him, I'll let him know about the Sound Choice GEM series so he can actually have some legal files on his system.
Thursday:
Future Leaders of the World - "Let Me Out" Seether - "The Truth" Chumbawamba - "Tubthumping" Unwritten Law - "Save Me (Wake Up Call)" Bloodhound Gang - "The Bad Touch" Puddle of Mudd - "She Hates Me" Blue October - "Hate Me"
Friday:
Natalie Imbruglia - "Torn" Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Snow (Hey Oh)" Thousand Foot Krutch - "Fire It Up" Godsmack - "Straight Out of Line"

She's doing well Mark. We went out Sat. and I sang three new ones for me. Bad by U2, which I had never seen on a songlist and had no idea it had ever been released for karaoke, along with The Killing Of Georgie by Rod Stewart and Bird On A Wire by Leonard Cohen from that old Top Tunes disc.

Well, that venue I went to on Tuesdays has decided to close off its karaoke show for the rest of 2010. I don't know if the karaoke is gonna come back there, but I've noticed that the KJ has gotten more Sound Choice on his system than before, so maybe he's been taking my advice about the GEM series.
Tuesday:
Jimmy Eat World - "Work" Trapt - "Still Frame" P.O.D. - "Youth of the Nation" Lenny Kravitz - "Fly Away" Finger Eleven - "Paralyzer"
