Tried to find the "when in" thread but it seems to be gone.
In the very near future I will be heading to L.A. for three days by my company(most likely during the week) and will need something to do in the evenings.
If they put me in the same place as last time, I'll probably end up somewhere on Sunset. So if anyone knows of places with Karaoke and what their policy on bringing one's own disks it would be much helpful. Somewhere in easy cabbing distance or who knows, I might brave transit again.

Give me the days, and I will try to find out what would be best for you. I think that you will have to head out to the North Hollywood area though.

Here's a fun place... Dublin's (on Sunset) - West Hollywood, Sunday nights, 10:00 PM to close. Yes, you can bring your own discs but you probably won't need to.
Let me know exactly where you'll be and I'll post up a complete list of all nearby venues and addresses.

I'll let you know as soon as I'm told. I think they want to do it relatively soon, but I can't realistically seeing them send me down until January. They might actually need me at the store for the Xmas rush.
Most likely I'll be going on the weekday. mainly depends on how they schedule it. I know I won't be down there for more than three days

You're probably back from LA by now. I was going to suggest to type in 'karaoke in California' and go from there! I did that for Florida because I was looking for a company I found to be VERY helpful in sending my catalogs and listen to the CD's to see if they were highlighted for duets. BEHOLD````I FOUND IT!!!!
