I just started singing [again] the last 11 months... I went to Dallas and won 1 contest... but I don`t ever hear of any more contests. Is there a news letter or something I could get. Also, does it make a difference that I sound like me instead of singers that recorded the songs???? I have a good voice, I just don`t like to sound like other people.

There are no newsletters that I know about that are just for contests...I know NSC is just ending for this year and Chartbuster is starting a Country Contest in Sept. but other than that I don;t know of any...You can find these websites on a search engine..thanks
