Well, if those guys put out weak line-ups, it's because they can't really call themselves "monthly" if they don't put out something. SC can take a pass if there aren't enough good current songs for a disc right now.

there are plenty though, it's just that those labels dropped the ball in my opinion
I know my current music, there are plenty of great songs out there right now.

Not sure if Eminem has any licensing control on Smack That, if so Akon's other current single with Snoop Dogg is right there with it on the Billboard charts. Other than that, I'm pretty all of those artists are good to go with licensing.
There is certainly not a lack of good current music available to SC, so I have really high expectations for the next Pop Hits disc.

agreed, the two Akon songs could be switched I'd say
I shyed away from White And Nerdy because I thought there might be a licensing issue with Chamillionaire. I don't see why SC wouldn't have done Ridin' otherwise.
I would like to see it though for sure.

Who said anything about jumping off a bridge???? it just that if they are going to have a future releases page then they need to keep it updated if not then get rid of it or get someone who will keep it updated...geessshhhh !!!!

Your the one having a kiniption over it, get a grip, and breathe some air, it's not the be all end all if they haven't updated the future release page, or maybe they have, and nothing is slated on the horizon, either way stuff appears there when they see fit to it.

I'd rather they wait and put up a for-sure release instead of putting up a potential disc and then having to take it down afterwards

Or maybe they are letting us know by not having anything listed that there ARE no new releases coming for awhile. Not losing sleep over it here.

If you subscribe to the newsletter don't you get that information there? I just recently recieved a future release page from thier newsletter if memory serves me correctly.
I'll agree that you are a drama queen and it looks as though 2007 is going to be a continuation of the same old antics you've littered these boards with in past years. Why does it have to be that way Gem? You spend so much time bitching and moaning about things that no-one hears the message over the noise.
