DUETS was OK in my opinion but it could have been done 100 times better if they had a KJ as one of the main characters as well.

There were a "crapload" of stand-up/improv comics with small rolls in the movie. Compare the closing credits with the "Just For Laughs" Festival Roster.

L'op, a grain of salt a lick of lemon and lots and lots of taquila make this movie pretty good, although I've never made it to the last part of the movie (lots of salt)

To TJMAT: I thought "Duets" was the pits. It was poorly developed, both Storylines-wise and Characters-wise. Even breaking it up further, things were overly exagerated.... It's funny how every place they showed obne of our main characters, they got up to sing right away...no wait...AMAZING!!!! And did you notice the song lists??? Every place handed you a sheet of paper that looked like a Menu (no SOng Books). And what was this "Karaoke Hustler"???? PUL-LEAZE!!! AND, THEY NEVER DID SHOW THE WINNER OF THE CONTEST....let alone explain how the contest even came about.
I'd love to know how you came about giving it a "Thumbs Up". Don't get me started!!!!

You're right... they should have built up the story around the actual competiton, and winning the contest. They could have had a "good guy" character, and a "bad guy" character who gives him fits.
