Just want to point out that it will be seven years before we get another headbanger disc, I would guess.

Also, Gary Moore??? Huh??? Someone said Iron Maiden and DIDNT say "Aces High"??????

One man's metal is another man's cheese, I guess. Seven is almost a total washout for me. Might not even buy it. If I do it's only for "Too Young to Fall In Love" and the Whitesnake song whose name I can never remember.

Guys, we need more Ozzy for cryin out loud! They keep putting out his more vaginal songs like "Mama I'm Yawning Home" and "No More Zzzzzzzzzz" complete with 2 minute break in the middle. "Shot in the Dark" was cool but I'm really going to quit Karaoke forever if the next HBH disc has anything other than "I Don't Know" "Bark at the Moon" or "Over the Mountain" on it.

If the alarming trend continues in Headbangers, they should change the name of the series to "Songs your girlfriend will tolerate with minimal whining while she begs you to sing Love Shack with her but you keep saying no because it will be a waste of your Rotation"

Headbangers Discs should contain songs that inspire folks to bang their heads, not serenade their Mothers. How about seperating Hair Rock from Metal and do two series?

How about Led Zeppelin vol 2???

I just saw "Winds Of Change" listed on a Pocket Songs disc. I don't own any Pocket Songs CDG's, but if you decide to check it out, it's on PSG1062 Rock and Metal Ballads.

Yes, we need Headbangers 8... #7 is OK. I will purchase it because I own all the Headbangers discs and I am the only KJ in my area that has the guts to get the harder stuff...

Summerland - King's X
Over My Head - King's X
Build A Fire - Drivin N Cryin
Fly Me Courageous - Drivin N Cryin
Crazy Nights - Loudness
Soldier Of Fortune - Loudness
Balls To The Wall - Accept

Wild Heartes Son - Cult
I'll Show You Something Special - Baalam & The Angel
In The Heat Of The Night - Mama's Boyz
Needle In The Groove - Mama's Boyz
Shoot Em Down - Twisted Sister
Come Out And Play - Twisted Sister
Hollywood - Junkyard

I've read all the requests and I'd have to say lonman has the most legit list of tunes for consideration. I agree OZZY would be huge and any Y&T,Scorpions,Rainbow,Deep Purple or Tesla have market potential. We will all agree that SC has the best handle on HEADBANGER influenced music and I think for the most part they have listened to our requests. Also throw ACDC into the mix and you'll make one headbanger very happy......LATER LASER LEO

It seems to me like a disc of only Dokken songs would do well. I would love it. As a matter of fact its the only reason I will buy vol. 7 because of In My Dreams. Anyway, please rush out vol. 8 and included should be

Dokken - anything really
Ratt - Way Cool Jr., Nobody Rides For Free, and Lovin You'd a Dirty Job
Queensryche - I am I
Guns N Roses - Civil War
Extreme - Rest In Peace or anything from III sides to Every Story
Warrant - Machine Gun or Hole in My Wall
Bon Jovi - Keep the Faith
Skid Row - Wasted Time, anything from Slave to the Grind
Motley Crue - Girl, Dont Go Away Mad
Firehouse - All She Wrote
Lynch Mob - Wicked Sensation
Ugly Kid Joe - Cats N the Cradle, or anything by them
just to name afew

Sorry to say.....but as harsh as his dissertation was, I gotta go with Darth.

All that Aquanet-spandex-poseurband stuff is fine for what it is, but agree that it shouldn't have gone under a "Headbangers" label. I bought HB7 anyway, of course, but it was a bit of let-down because of this.

Separating the "corporate rock/hairband" songs from "real headbanger stuff" is a good idea.

For real "headbanger songs", I like Steve D., Octane & Lonman's suggestions....especially The Zoo, Last In Line, Fade To Black, Mean Streak, Flight Of Icarus, and Ace Of Spades. Peace Sells would be cool, too.

(BTW - hey, Lonman....Bringing On The Heartbreak's already on 8373, dude....it ain't like you to let that slip by...heheheh)

From RG....Girl Don't Go Away Mad, Nobody Rides For Free, and Cat's In The Cradle by Ugly Kid Joe would be great....second to those as well.

Not sure about Dokken, but no doubt an all-AC/DC disc would be pretty well-received. There are certainly enough AC/DC hit songs to fill a Spotlight, but a Star Series would still work. Along with the usual (older) AC/DC material, don't forget stuff like Moneytalks and Thunderstruck. Ride On is, of course, a must.

An all-Ozzy disc, should sell nicely....I'd be first in line to buy it, and so would every other KJ around here. When you do one, how about re-doing Close My Eyes Forever without that annoying guitar screw-up this time? (arrrgh)

Hmmm....actually....an Ozzy+AC/DC combination disc could be a tasty idea.....guess it would be something like "HELL-ectric Rock"....LOL. - L .

I agree with the Dokken disc. I think that would be cool.. Or at least the suggestion of a 3-group set of Hard Rockers... My 3 choices would be Dokken, Ratt and Queensryche. At least that's a start.

I saw a few posts for AC/DC and that's cool. I have a few people at my shows that would like to have more AC/DC to sing (or scream).

I have mentioned some of my picks on earlier posts.. Seems like noone comments on my picks.. Oh well, I guess I like some of the lesser known bands.

Someone mentioned Y&T and I would like to see "Mean Streak"... That would flat out rock...

Ozzy & AC/DC....great idea Leigh!! They both have enough songs to warrant their own discs, but it's still a cool combo.
