Well, our new recruits are doing well at their Friday night gig. Crowds have been building steadily and management has opted to keep it running beyond the month trial they gave us. Touch wood cause we hope it continues and John and Lorraine make a really good team/product. We keep investing in their system to get the song selection expanded and equipment up to snuff. a two ply message One. Dog & Pony Sound comes through again as I had someone do search via google and got me down here Two. RJ, Jay & Deb from Big dog's says Hi. They said they were from R.I. and I took a shot seeing i they knew you and they said they did. They came in to where I was and were at first surprised to see karaoke being done in a well lit family restaurant, but he came up and sang gimme three steps and rocket man and had fun anyway BTW , my hair got chopped off so I might need a new emoticon soon Pony IP: Logged |

Unfortunately Ofers closed their doors on December 30th. But as they say, when one door closes another one opens. In this case 2 doors have opened. We have again made a change to our location. I would like to invite anyone visiting the St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Florida area to come and see us at the Ohio Sports Cafe at 9713 66th St. N. Hi, I'm really new to this and reading all of this is great!!! I have been doing karoake 4 years here in Colo City, Co. It's halfway between Pueblo and Walsenburg. I have been hired this year by all 3 Venues out here. 1 bar, 1 Hotel with bar and resteraunt and dance floor. 1 Golf Course Country Club with dance floor and bar. If any of you are ever in Southern Colorado, come on in and join us at Froggy Karoake!!! I love this site!!!! Greenhorn Inn Ol 'Zans Place Cafe Cuerno Verde @ Hollydot Golf Course I have an idea for you. I make t-shirts to sell at home and have made one for each venue i work at. I use frogs and jokes to personalize what each place is special for. they hang them in the bars. People have ordered them AND it is more advertising for all of us. i also give them as prizes at Mystery Karoake. Hope this is a good idea for someone. take it easy. IP: Logged |

TALK ABOUT CLASS!!! I swung by RC's gig at "Illusions" off 123rd and Division, after my gig had ended. I was feeling pretty good, and decided to surprise my friend. What a class act! He not only spoke with me about his ideas, but asked me to join in on the last song (Billy Joel/Ray Charles duet "My Baby Grand"), and afterwards, told all his customers that I was a KJ, where my show was at, and DESPITE that it was on the same, direct night as his, jokingly said that if they weren't at his show, they could go to mine! Of course, one thing he said was absolutely true. It makes his gig look great when KJs show up at his on their night or time off! LOL! Thanks for the great time RC! You're the best! Matt IP: Logged |

Another bar bites the dust. No longer doing karoake at Ol zans, it died. what a bummer. I have been there 5 years, during every single new owner. This last change of hands, well, he was a great guy to work for, but could not keep it going. too many business and personal problems. this bar has been open for 32 years. Anybody know anything about Royal Carribean Cruises for karaoke? Supposedly it is a feedable "machine" that has 2 speakers and is moved around the ship (Explorer class)from bar to bar. Any karaoke insight from anyone who has been on one of these big RC ships will be appreciated. IP: Logged |

Dog and/or Pony, Could you remove our show from the list? The bar finally closed down and alas, the wife and I are semi-retired from the biz. We just do an occasional show at our lake place.
