Mark, I remember the song, but, no, I don't have any info on it, sorry. I'll try and look and ask around.

Still, my question is basically aimed at giving me some sort of example of what songs SC are interested in hearing about. Knowing how they choose a song, can and may change my requests. Although, I really requests songs that I would sing over and over; but knowing what type of song is looked for, can make me limit my requests into a more down-to-earth helpful request.

Just picked up Movie Madness 2. Sang "We All Die Young" at my daughter in law's birthday party. What a blast to sing a song that's like new hair metal. Thanks SC for the song. Blood polution is next!

Just wanted to say thank you for reducing the prices on the Foundation. Very tempting, in fact I am going to pick up Foundation I, due to the price reduction.

Also, if you HB fans don't have Brickette 5, it is also reduced, and I like to call one of the discs in that set Head Bangers Vol Zero. There are also some very good 70's & 80's songs on the other discs.

Yup! I use my bricks every weekend. They were well worth the $$$ even at the regular prices.

Love my SC8861!!

TALK TO YOU LATER - THE TUBES - good version
PANAMA RED - NEW RIDERS OF THE PURPLE SAGE - don't know this at all! LOL!
SHE'S TIGHT - CHEAP TRICK - I liked this... did think the BV should have been heavier on the chanting "She's Tight"! LOL!
ROAM - THE B-52'S - very good!
VOLUNTEERS - JEFFERSON AIRPLANE - cute, short song!
LONGER BOATS - CAT STEVENS - don't know this
LOVE SOMEBODY - RICK SPRINGFIELD - EXCELLENT version... I was very impressed.
PICTURES OF YOU (RADIO VERSION) - THE CURE - great... happy with it!
MINUTE BY MINUTE - THE DOOBIE BROTHERS - good alternative to the other discontinued version of this that I have!
MOVING IN STEREO - THE CARS - alas, a cars tune I don't know. Forgot that they were making music BEFORE 'Heartbeat City'!
HANDY MAN - JAMES TAYLOR - there are times this throws me off... used to the other version, I guess
FERNANDO - ABBA - Good job on the BV!! The only problem is, if you're not an accomplished singer, the alto melody could throw off the Soprano singer!
HONKY CAT - ELTON JOHN - again, and excellent song!
DANGEROUS TYPE - THE CARS Wow, ANOTHER Cars tune I don't know.
ALL THE YOUNG DUDES - MOTT THE HOOPLE - This freaked me out... I was totally unaware what this song was... until the chorus jumped in! This is an old favorite I never knew what the song was. And one I'll sing. A BONUS for me!
REDEMPTION SONG (ACOUSTIC VERSION) - BOB MARLEY - hmmm, didn't even see this sixteenth track when I tried it out! LOL!

B.C.,
I just wanted to pass on my thank you's for Taliban Song and Weed With Willie. Both are excellent versions and I sing them every chance I get.
On a side note, I just bought the Power Pick with "The Critic" and was listening to some of the guide vocal versions. Please pass on my compliments to your singer on "Mayberry"
I don't know how he doesn't already have a record deal. He did an excellent job. It makes me yearn for those days 15 years ago when I could still hit those high notes.
Thanks,
GaryC

Yea, those Toby songs were done well, although I can't imagine they were very difficult either LOL. However, even though I know SC likes to be faithful to vocal parts being broken down, I would have preferred these 2 songs to just be done as one part, with a pre-recorded harmony for the chorus. But considering I never thought these songs would be put out in the first place, I'm not complaining

Just noticed CCR's Midnight Special on 8814 and got that one, great disk.

There used to be a version on another manufacturer's laser disk, but as KJ's got rid of the LD's that song started disappearing from the books.

Another company has it but nobody gets that one cause they already have all the CCR songs on 8489.

So thanks, I can sing one of my fav's again.

B.C. and everyone at Sound Choice:
Thank you very much for the Warren Brothers "I Sell Alot Of Beer." I know it isn't out yet, but I see it set for August release. Thanks for listening. Also, it has Montgomery Gentry's "I Got Drunk." That is a great karaoke song too.
Thanks again,
GaryC

Yeah, gotta say thanks for HB 13 - With all those long and great songs it didn't really hit me that there were only 14 songs - still would rather have the 14 songs then trying to fit 15 in and having a Donnie Iris or Bon Jovi or something.

And those two are:
1. the fun sing along Seek & Destroy by Metallica

2. You Can't Kill Rock And Roll by Ozzy, but the end is intrumental and kicks in at about 5:30 minutes.

And then have you heard the end to Problem Child. I can't believe they did the whole thing, with the false end and start up. I guess that's what puts SC on top.

Thanks SC for the Voices Carry disc. It has been fun to sing from it. Everyone has a good time cause "It's Alright" is one of the big songs. I have sung it 3 times at different "venues" and they all clap their hands when prompted. It's pretty cool! I guess they've got soul.

edit for this PS- Young had nothing to do with "Helplessly Hoping".

Although "Helplessly Hoping" did originally appear on the album CSN, it did later show up on the greatest hits collection Deja Vu by CSN&Y. And on the 2002 CSNY tour Helplessly Hoping opened the Wooden part of the set (or Act II). Technically, you are right, but people probably remember the greatest hits lp first. Also, on the CSN&Y box set there is an alternate version of Helplessly Hoping which is a country version.
